Involved, engaged families lead to successful students! We try to have a variety of opportunities for families and the community to be involved with PHSSA. 

Please fill out our survey! This allows teachers and staff to reach out to you for help on projects where your specific talents are needed.

We also have specific volunteer opportunities:

• Staff Meeting Refreshments: Provide snacks or beverages for a staff meeting. Sign up coming soon.
• Playground Cleanup: Pick a day and clean up the playground. Sign up coming soon.
• Lost and Found Cleanout: Take some time to sort the lost and found, including taking pictures to help reunite owners with lost items. Sign up coming soon.
• Grade Captains: We are looking for a family/community event coordinator for each grade to help organize grade-level meetups outside of school hours. Details on how to volunteer coming soon.
• Campus Clean-Up Day Organizer: We'd like to organize a clean-up event both inside and outside the buildings. Contact the PTA to volunteer to be the event coordinator!
• Amaze Day: We'll need your help to make this a success! Details coming soon.
• Cheer Stations: PHSSA will have a cheer station for the Richmond Marathon and Monument Avenue 10K! Volunteers will be needed.
• Picnic Table Staining: We will be staining all of the picnic tables on campus to help extend their life! Date coming soon.
