Community Work Day and Uniform Swap

Hello, Mighty Oak Families!!

The PTA is organizing a community work day on Saturday, August 3rd! We’ve asked the teachers and staff what they need in the building to get ready for the 2024-2025 school year. We’re expecting a wide variety of requests that may include some targeted cleaning, organizing items, or building/repairing/installing furniture. The goal is to have a group of volunteers work through the requests between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
We’re asking for people to sign up with the goal of organizing a bit before arriving at the building on Saturday.  

We ask for the best way to contact you for two reasons:
1. For best way to share information closer to the actual date; and
2. For projects that may require specific tools or advance thought, it is helpful to share this ahead of time. This allows volunteers to ask questions in advance to make sure we all arrive with what we will need.

Students are encouraged to join! This is a great way for our Mighty Oaks to get back into action and help out! This is also a great way to get a jump start on those involvment hours.
